A manufacturer’s defect is a defect in a product which was not intended.

A manufacturer’s defect in footwear may occur through faulty workmanship or materials.

A guarantee is a promise to sort out any problems, such as a manufacturer’s defect what may occur, within a specific period of time.

 FOOTWEAR  GUARANTEE

We guarantee that the workmanship and materials used to produce and supply footwear sold by National Shoe and Occupational Solutions Ltd. (NATCO) are in accordance with footwear specifications and standards, approved by International and Local Bodies for Safety Standards, such as the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM F); European Safety Standards (EN ISO 20345); Canadian Standards Association (CSA); and the Trinidad and Tobago Bureau of Standards (TTBS).

We guarantee our footwear to be free from defective workmanship or materials, and we agree to replace at our own cost any footwear sold by NATCO, which may prove defective in workmanship or materials, within the specific period stated by NATCO.

Our Sales Team will assess the intended environment for use of the footwear and will recommend suitable footwear styles for specific environments.

Guarantee periods range from a minimum of six (6) months to twelve (12) months and depend on the style of footwear, and its intended use in specific environments. This guarantee does not apply to footwear damage resulting from intentional abuse or misuse in an environment not suitable for the specific footwear.

If you feel that your worn or unworn footwear has a manufacturer’s defect, while under the guarantee period, you are advised to contact the Retail Outlet, or the  Corporate Sales Officer who conducted the original purchase. The ‘defective’ footwear must be brought into NATCO with proof of receipt for inspection and determination.

NATCO values all of our customers and we always appreciate feedback provided.
